At around 8:30 am, a total of 10 hikers and 2 dogs started the hike . It was a beautiful morning , a bit cloudy , but excellent conditions for the hike. Not long after our start , one of the Hike leaders, Pam discovered a tiny snake on a leaf (actually it was more a worm with a snakehead) and in order to avoid any kind of embarrassment for the snake or us , we decided to take a small curve around her. It was quite a steep trail for some time and we stopped a couple of times to take a deep breath and a bit of water, but due to the generally good fitness of the group, we made good progress. We had our lunch at the first cascade (Pam decided to share her lunch generously with the 2 dogs and Chan taking pictures from all possible positions) , had to climb up our way a bit more until we started to walk downhill to the second waterfall. One of the Hike leaders, Pam was falling down and injured her knee and the second Hike leader Chan was probably taking 100 pictures of her knee. We had to cross the second waterfall and could successfully convince one of the hikers not to take his shoes off based on past experiences. All in all a wonderful hike with a decisive positive health effect. We were back at the starting point at 12:30 pm. Pam (with a bit help from Rudi).
