Monday, we walked From the Arboretum to Wat Doi Suthep. Six of us made the trip in just under 2 hours then had coffee at the temple coffee shop. Somehow we lost John in the centre of the temple. Perfect weather. Two walked back. I was the slowest up, and so tired I took the songtaw back down.
Wednesday, we walked from HTT lake to the helipad. Four of us made the trip, two people were waiting in the wrong place and walked on their own (we always meet BEHIND the standing Buddha), Trip time 2 hours 30 minutes. Good views of the mountains at Doi Saket and Chang Dow.
Thursday, two of us repeated the Wednesday trip as the two walking alone failed to find the waterfall. Trip time 2 hours 30 minutes. A bit misty today.
Friday, four of us started 7:30 at the arboretum picked up another two at 8:00 at the start of the Pilgrims trail, 90 minutes later we reached the Temple. I was last (as usual), but a great walk. Everyone else had the energy to walk back down, I took the songtaw on my own.
