We started promt 0805 in the early morning at the dam behind the stadium. Hiked up in a slowly tempo on the soft hillsides, heading to the waterfall. Crossing the waterfall, now full of water. Started the heavy hike up to the summit of Doi Pa Kha 1135 M. We made a brake here. And suddenly the big rain come. We decided to continue down to the 4 Junctions of Doi pa Kha.

Yes it is a new position.

Here the trail up to Doi Pa Kha meet the dirt roads .

1. Dirt road up to Ban Mong Khun Chang Khian.

2. Dirt road to the ranger station at Huai Tueng Thao Lake.

3. Dirt road back to farmer area in a flat land above the 700 years stadium.

In heavy monsoon rain we hiked up to the village As a miracle, rain finish and the sun broke out.

Nice coffee at the local shop. Village produced coffee. Richard and Nick loved it so much, so the ordered a refill.

Suddenly we lost Kim in village area, but after a quick effort, we brought him home to the group. He had made some photos of lovely puppies, and forgot about us.

Hiked down in the area to the 5 ways junction. Got left on the dirt road. Follow the dirt road to the end. Pick up the trail back to the waterfall in the beginning. Hike down to the stadium. Now heavy rain start again. Ulf and I run to the cars.

Resume:

A lovely hike with many different terrains and lovely views.
