For this Sunday’s hike, we will meet at 7:30 am at the car park of the 700 year Stadium ( see map below). We will pool/share cars and motorbikes and go together to Mae Nai village ( around 20-30 minutes driving time). The hike will lead us from Mae Nai to the area of the Mae Sa elephant Camp and back .From Mae Nai we will slowly walk up to the first ridge and take a short break after around 2 hours . After the break, we will climb up to another ridge, where the trail will go smoothly up and down for while . After around 4 hours we will have our lunch break and turn back to our starting point. The total estimated time of the hike will be 6 hours.  Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs for this hike ( elephant camp).

Just turn up at the meeting place on the day and on time.

We cannot accommodate groups.

Meeting Place

This time we will meet at 07:30 for an 07:40 hours start in the car park at the 700 years Stadium ( please see the map).There is no need to let us know you are coming.

How to come to 700 year stadium car park.

.Head straight out from the North West corner of the moat 2 km towards Doi Suthep on Huay Kaeow Road (H.1004)Turn right onto the Canal Road H.121After 4.5 km going North turn left at traffic lights into the Stadium area.See the map below.

Please don’t be late as we leave on time.

Advice

Bring :

  • around 1.5-2 liters of water or more, snacks and picnic lunch
  • good footwear etc. hat, rain wear, insect repellent and sun-block
  • energy, team spirit, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.

  2. After I dumped you all (for being terrible laggards), this was my route, with photos. I had a nice lunch at the Sala Cafe ….. on my own.
