23 hikers and 2 dogs were meeting at the 700 Year Stadium for our hike on September 27th. We left our meeting point in time and had another hiker waiting for us at the starting point, getting on our way at around 8:50 AM.
We first had to walk 5 minutes uphill and then a long downhill section until we arrived at the bottom of the stairs which we had to climb up to a temple – a total of 456 steps !
stopped at the temple for a short “Water&Picture” break after
which we started to hike along the ridge for 20 to 30 minutes before we were
coming to a dirt road. There we stopped for another short break before we had a
steep uphill section followed by a downhill descent to the water stream ,crossing
of which turned out to be a problem for
the two leaders only ………After a 15 minutes break at the water stream,
we walked uphill for around a quarter of an hour and then hiked downhill to our Starting point. After the hike, some of us bought fruits from local people before we were driving together to a local Thai Restaurant for lunch and drinks including 3 cans of beer for free.
Thanks to all of you for joining!
