In view of the upcoming festivities, we will have this time a hike with a slightly later start and an earlier finish. It is a medium hike about 2 hours and 30 minutes, mostly in shaded terrain. Good forest roads and safe paths.
We will meet again at the MINI shop before the Roundabout near the Night Safari at 08:30 AM. Carpooling at 08:40 AM to the starting point, a 20 minutes drive up to a gravel road that connects to Samoeng Rd. We will hike up south through a small village on a country road. Up on a ridge , we will turn to the west. Then we will be walking up along a ridge on a beautiful dirt road ,through a lush and shady forest. After we will have crossed a small mountain and have come out to the other side, we will follow a clear and shady path down to the east. We will walk on a forest road, later on a dirt road which finally changes to a small concrete road. Once we will arrive down in a village along the Samoeng Rd, we will have finished the hike. We have some cars that will carry the drivers back to the starting point. This is to avoid the last 2.7 kilometers in the heat on the main road.
