23 hikers were meeting in the morning of December 8th at the Arboretum car park, sharing cars and motorbikes to the car park of Wang Bua Ban Waterfall. We started our hike at 7:55 am by crossing the road from the car park and walking uphill for around 2 hours 15 minutes to the 3 junction dirt road.
As some of the hikers including one of the hike leaders (Pam) were not feeling too well that morning, the group split in a faster and a slower sub-group . Anders and Stephen who were hiking with the faster sub-group were walking back to find and collect the partly exhausted members of the slower cluster.
After our reunion, we were hiking downhill for about half an hour before we arrived at a beautiful farm area where we had our lunch break.
After the break we continued to walk along the farm area and back into the jungle with some steeply sloping parts which caused some of us tumbling and falling down.
After around 90 minutes, we arrived at Chang Kian Waterfall where we stopped for a 20-minute rest.
After the last rest, we walked some time uphill and then back downhill to the car park of Wang Bua Ban almost forgetting one hiker in the jungle , who were taking a wrong turn-off.
Some of us went to a Thai restaurant organized by Yada and the rest of us went back to the city or home.
Thanks to all of you for joining !!
