Wow ! After we had a record of 47 hikers for a hike last year, the hike last Sunday attracted a new record of 51 hikers !
Out of the 51 hikers, 49 of us met at our morning meeting point at the 700-Year-Stadium, two more hikers joined us at the Shell Station in the Mae Taeng District.
We had about an hour driving time to our starting point and we got on our way for the hike at around 9:30 am.
The hike was about 3.5 hours long with quite high temperatures. It was sometimes a bit of a challenge to keep all of us together, but we succeeded to manage that the whole group arrived at the same time at the Elephant Camp.
Some of us bought drinks and snacks for the boat trip and after we purchased our tickets, we commenced our Bamboo-Rafting trip down the Mae Taeng River.
Afterwards we had a short way back to our vehicles. Some of us went back home and some had dinner at the King Rama IX Lake.
Thanks to all of you for such a grandiose interest and for making this excursion a wonderful experience !!
