A pretty big group of 28 hikers were going to Op Khan National Park in the morning of April 6th. We started our hike at around 10:00 AM walking uphill for a couple of minutes and downhill for about the same time. At this point of time it was planned to take a picture of the whole group , but a King Cobra was passing just in front of us which caused some confusion and we forgot about the picture. We continued our hike being challenged with quite high temperatures and few trees and leaves as obviously the whole area has been burned down recently.
After around 1 hour and 20 minutes we arrived at the Op Khan river. We crossed the river in order to be able to sit down in the shadows of some trees. We put our food in the middle and enjoyed our home-made buffet and swiming.
After around 30 to 40 minutes of eating and swimming we started to walk back to our morning starting point taking a different way along the river. The total time of our circular hike was about 3 hours 15 minutes.
Afterwards some of us went for drinks and some went home.
Thank you very much for this pleasurable Sunday morning !
