29 people arrived at our Meeting point past Sunday morning with 28 of us leaving in two groups and driving to the Starting point ( Baan Na Huak Village). First Anders was leaving with four cars following him and then a group of three cars followed them . Pam was part of the second group and after arriving at the Staring point , we realized that the first group has not arrived yet . After some telephone calls and coordination, they were following us to the Starting point after 10 to 15 minutes .
We started our hike with almost perfect weather conditions , walking slowly uphill and before we arrived on the top of the mountain, we stopped for 10 minutes for a snack break and taking a group picture.
We continued to walk up hill after around 2 hours. Then we started to walk downhill and as were taking a shortcut in the morning, we were came to a trail which a smaller group discovered on a exploration hike a couple of days before.
As Pam was engaged in collecting some mushrooms, she made the group wait for her a little bit — sorry for that !
At around 12:30 PM we arrived at a small lake next to a Baan Mae Aen village , where we had lunch in two different restaurants, one group of 16 and another of 12 hikers.
After our meals , the first group was picking up the second group and after walking for 20-30 minutes we were coming back to the Car Park. Some people went home and some of us enjoyed a drink at a local shop.
