( As we will have a longer hike and share cars together, please bring a towel and a second shirt with you).
As our hike on Sunday will be a picnic hike, please prepare a picnic meal , which can be shared among the hikers .
We will again meet at the big open area 50 meters past the PTT Station on Canal Road ( please see map below). Meeting time will be 7:30 am for a 7:40 am take-off. We will share/pool cars and motorbikes. The estimated driving time should be about 1 hour depending on traffic.
This will be a relatively easy hike which will bring us to a stunning waterfall after around 2.5 hours hiking time depending on the group. After our start in the morning, we have to walk uphill for about 500 meters. The remaining route will be an alternating easy up-and downhill hike. Once we arrive at the waterfall, we will sit down, relax, enjoy our meals a bath in the pool if desired. Please bring along your swimming togs in case you would like to enjoy a water refreshment. We probably will stay at the waterfall for around one hour. After the picnic , we will slowly walk back to our vehicles. Estimated total duration of the hike will be 5 hour including the picnic depending on the group.

We will meet at a open area on the left hand side of Canal Road ( If you drive from Canal road from direction suthep Road towards Night safari Road, it is 500 meter after Suthep Road past PTT Gas station for 50 meter– please see map below)

Advice
Bring :
- around 2 liters of water or more, snacks&picnic lunch
- good footwear etc. hat, rain wear, insect repellent and sun-block
- energy,team spirit, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.
- In case you are a passenger, please contribute to the costs of gasoline with THB 100 per person.

G-d I hope it’s not raining, this place looks nice. Was going to join last weekend, but with the heavy rains the night before (and forecast for all day Sunday) didn’t go—and it ended up being a beautiful day!
Picnic by the waterfall is always one of the joys of life.
