On Sunday, we had quite a big group of 34 hikers coming to our meeting point  on Canal Road. After a driving time of around 1 hour, we arrived at the Starting point. The drivers dropped all the hikers there and were then driving their vehicles to the finish location of our hike. They returned with the pick-up truck of Richard to our starting point.

At 9:20 AM we started our hike. First we had to walk up a fairly steep trail for around 500 meters which was bringing us to a viewpoint where we had a short break. After the break, we continued to climb up , although  the trail continued less steeply rising than before our break. After around 30 minutes, we came to a junction, one trail being the way we have taken before on our exploration hike and another one which Pam considered to be a potential shortcut to the waterfall, which turned out to be a self-illusion. We walked up to a ridge and arrived at another junction where Anders and the group continued to walk along the ridge and Pam was taking the other one to explore a potential alternative option to come to the waterfall. Unfortunately time did not allow to bring the group to the alternative trail  and therefore she was taking a shortcut to find her way back to the group. We tried to communicate with the walkie-talkie which was not working too well , but we having  a mobile reception  signal , we  could talk over the mobile phone. Coming to a small  water stream, Pam was calling the group again to figure out their current location and after around 10 minutes the group was able to find Pam and hence the group was reunified again.

After around 1 km , we arrived at the waterfall where we enjoyed our meals and beverages and some of us enjoyed a refreshing bath. We stayed for around 1.5 hours at the waterfall and walked then back to our vehicles. Total time of the hike and picnic was around 6 hours. Some of us went home and some enjoyed drinks and ice cream at the Burger shop In Baan Mai Wang Pha Pun same place as last Sunday hike.
