As we will have a longer hike and share cars together, please bring a towel and a second shirt with you.
In case you are a passenger, please contribute to the costs of gasoline with THB 100 per person.

Our hike starts at one of the campsites in the Mon Jaem area at an elevation of 1337 m. We will hike down through the vegetable plantations filled with Chili Pepper, Lettuce and Cabbage. We hike down on small dirt roads and trails to an elevation of 1049 m. On our way we will see many Bua Tong flowers (Mexican Sun flower). They are blooming now for a couple of weeks. Must be seen! On our way back up to the campsite we continue on small roads and trails. We will visit a cave that is only known by the locals. A friendly farmer who showed us the cave told us it is about 200 meter deep.
Back at the campsite we will have our lunch at the restaurant.
The hike is an easy one. No steep uphill or downhill. The hike will take about 4 hours.
There is just one “But”.
The hike will take place in an open landscape with no shade. But the farmer told us that during this time of the year most days are cloudy.
If the day turns out to be a sunny day, we will make an alternative hike in the area, “The Mon Jaem Loop”. A beautiful hike we have done a couple of times.
