15/01/25_ Trip Report_Huai Hoi Waterfall Circular Hike

For our hike on January 25th, 21 hikers were coming to our Meeting point and we had two more hikers waiting for us at the Starting point.

The hike started at around 8:50 AM among perfect weather conditions.

We slowly walked towards the river and had to pass it by using a pretty shaky bridge.

After crossing the bridge, we started to walk uphill until our lunch break, but as the temperatures were moderate we could cope pretty well with the long steep uphill climb.

At around noon we arrived at the top of the mountain , had a 35 minutes lunch break and walked along the ridge for about half an hour after the break.

. We then commenced to walk downhill to the Hill Tribe Village. 6 of us separated from the group in order to find an easier way down to the village while Pam and the rest of us were taking the trail which we explored on Wednesday before our hike. At the village we were talking to the local people and taking pictures of baby pigs, dogs and chicken.

Afterwards we walked to the waterfall where the 6 hikers who found another trail were already waiting for us.

We had another break for 15 to 20 minutes before we walked along the water stream back to the Starting point. Most of us had drinks and meals in the village where we had parked our cars.

Total time of the hike: 7 hours 50 Minutes.
