For our hike to Spicy Waterfall, there were 21 hikers coming to the meeting point and 3 hikers waiting at the Canal Road/Night Safari junction, thus we were 24 hikers . At around 7:40 AM we were leaving with cars and motorbikes to our starting point – driving time about 1 hour.
At 9:00 AM we started our hike separated in 2 groups, fast hikers with Anders, slower hikers with Pam. As the temperature was very high when we started, some hikers were a bit struggling and Pam was staying behind with them forming up a 3rd group.
Around 15 minutes before we arrived at the waterfall, we had a light rain shower. At the waterfall the three groups reunited , but as the first ( fast) group was already waiting for a while , they walked up to the second waterfall while the rest of the group enjoyed their time with picnic , swimming and a fish spa.
After about an hour, the fast group returned and had their lunch while some hikers decided to walk back to the starting point.
The rest of the group walked back to the starting point about an hour later, encountering quite heavy rain just 10 minutes before we arrived at our vehicles.
