12 hikers gathered in front of Promenada Mall and separated to two groups. One group moved directly to the start point at the White Buddha. The other group went first to park the truck which would collect us all at the end. Thanks to Bob and his Suzuki truck we were able to shorten the time before starting the hike.
We started the hike at 08:55 and walked along the ridge to the north. It was wonderful blue sky for the rainy season and we could watch fantastic view of the both side of ridge but I was surprised that grass has grown very quickly with many rainy days if compared to 16 days ago. And Ms.Y was focused on collecting mushrooms as ever in the middle of the hiking.
We began to go down the mountain to head to the goal point after taking a snack break, and we reached to the goal point after another 1 hour. And then the 12 hikers got on Bob’s Suzuki truck at the goal point and headed to the start point. A refreshing rain shower helped cool us on the way.
Total walking time was 2 hours 55 minutes and the total distance of the hike was 6.4km.
We then moved on to a restaurant outside of the entrance of San Kampaeng hot springs to have meals, cold beer and drinks, and then we enjoyed bathing at the hot spring swimming pool.
